Information about Essex Teacher Training

Essex Teacher Training is a large provider of ITT in the Eastern Region. Based in Harlow, it

offers high quality school-based training routes for both Primary and Secondary in schools

across Essex. They work with 11 lead schools or school direct partnerships, across Essex.             

Each of these partnerships consists of several schools and may include Teaching Schools,

Academies, Maintained Schools and Special Schools. We also work with a variety of

schools across Essex and the neighbouring counties for the SCITT route.

If you choose to train with us you will be based full time in a local school and follow a

personalised training programme with individual support from personal tutors.

All successful trainees will achieve QTS and may be enrolled on a Masters Programme.
